Buyers and brand identity, a fascinating connection
Marco Semeghini tutor at Istituto Marangoni and New York University during Buenos Aires Moda shared his experience and knowledge as buyer director for Rinascente, Gucci, Tom Ford and Canali.
17th November, 2020. During BA Moda, students and professionals had the chance to interact with Marco Semeghini a marketing manager with significant experience in the industry of fashion. The talk gave a brief insight of the role of buyers in fashion industry, compared multibrand stores with monobrand stores and the differences between the responsibilities. The importance of Retail in building brand identity as a key driver for brand equity. His presentation closed with a strong message about the human factor and the crucial component in the chain of value and the importance of training people.
