Gira Elisava 2025! A week to remember

Together with Lucía Colombo (Director of the MA in Art Direction & New Narratives), October 2025

The week began on Monday, with the opening of Superlocal in Montevideo, Uruguay, at Hungry Art Gallery.
The event brought together participants of the project, with a remarkable presence of both national and international design. It became a space for connection, exchange, and celebration of creativity. From FAD Connection, we participated together with Elisava by projecting student works on the exterior walls of the venue.

Santiago de Chile

On Tuesday, Lucía Colombo arrived in Santiago de Chile, where she gave a talk at the Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD).
The following day, she led a workshop at Fotodesign Chile before traveling to Buenos Aires to continue the tour.

Buenos Aires

Thursday , Lucía led the Espresso Estético workshop at Study Store in the morning. In the afternoon, she gave a talk at the Universidad de Palermo (UP).

Montevideo

On Friday, the agenda continued in Montevideo, starting in the morning with a talk at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (FADU).

In the afternoon, a networking event was held at Modo Casona, within the framework of Superlocal. The event included an exhibition of students’ physical works, screenings, and a relaxed moment of exchange featuring a banquet and wine from Bodega José Ignacio.

On Saturday, the tour continued with a workshop at La Hoguera, also part of the Superlocal program, and finally, on Sunday, the closing talk took place at the Museum of Migrations (MUMI).

They were intense and enriching days, marked by collaboration, inspiration, and the exchange between diverse creative communities in the region.

From FAD Connection, we celebrate being part of this experience that strengthens the bonds between Elisava and the local community, bringing new perspectives on design, art, and education.
