Revelaciones de Moda 2025
A Call to Spotlight Emerging Fashion Talent in Buenos Aires
The Ministry of Economic Development of the City of Buenos Aires has launched ‘Revelaciones de Moda 2025’, a program aimed at supporting emerging designers, accessory creators, and fashion photographers through mentorships, exhibitions, and access to professional networks.
The call is supported by FAD Connection, which participates as an official promotional entity by offering international academic scholarships to the selected winners.
Part of the ‘Buenos Aires está de Moda’ initiative, this program provides concrete tools for the development of new projects within the local creative industry. Applications are open until July 16, 2025, and are available to individuals or legal entities residing or operating in Buenos Aires City.
Categories and Requirements
Applicants may submit proposals in one of the following three categories:
– Emerging Fashion Designers: at least three original and completed looks from a larger collection
– Accessory and Complement Designers: at least three original pieces
– Fashion Photography: a portfolio of at least ten images
Applicants must submit a CV, project statement, and additional documents depending on their registration type. Finalists will participate in professional mentorship sessions and, if selected, present their work during ‘Buenos Aires está de Moda’ through fashion shows or exhibitions.
Scholarships by FAD Connection
As an official promotional entity, FAD Connection will award international academic scholarships to one winner in each category:
– Domus Academy (Milan) – One-semester scholarship for Emerging Fashion Designers
– NABA (Rome or Milan) – Two-week intensive course for Accessory Designers
– ELISAVA (Barcelona or Madrid) – Two-week intensive course for Fashion Photographers
*Scholarships cover tuition fees only and do not include travel or accommodation.
Jury and Selection Process
Each category will be assessed by a jury composed of established professionals from the fields of fashion, design, photography, and media. The evaluation will take place in two phases: a technical preselection and a final live presentation. Winners will be announced in August 2025.
