School Description

Domus Academy, founded in Milan in 1982, is a postgraduate design school with a revolutionary curriculum project-based on the experience of Italian design and fashion. The combination of accredited courses and projects with real life professionals give students the opportunity to build a solid academic background and work experience. Their vision is to support next-generation designers to change the future. Domus is a visionary school of design research and experience, an open and interdisciplinary environment to work on visionary projects with avant-garde companies.

Course Description

Domus has 11 masters with a project-based approach in four main areas: Fashion, Design, Experience & Business. Each master is one year long composed by five modules. The first two modules are core to the chosen area of studies, the third and fourth are elective and the fifth is a two-month internship with a company. Each student can tailor the course to their individual skills and career aspirations.

Domus Masters are recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and MIUR. It has been selected as one of the top 3 Design Schools in Italy and among the first 100 by subject according to 2022 QS World University Rankings. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 1994 for its academic quality and focus on research, Domus Academy is also positioned within the best design schools in the world, according to Business Week's Guide.
