A portfolio is a visual presentation of a creative work. It involves telling a story, your story. This portfolio design workshop showcases the tools and strategies needed to tell your visual story.

At the end of the workshop you will have a clearer idea of what is expected of a portfolio, advise, order and a personalized feedback of your work.

Topics

What is a personal portfolio? Why is it important? How to structure it, organize material, select the best pieces and tell a visual story? Portfolio samples plus a personalized one to one feedback session.

You will have an understanding and tools to build a portfolio that reflects your experience, your work and your identity.

The method

Once you have purchased the service, you will be invited to attend the “Design your portfolio workshop” and then you will have a one to one session for individual feedback and extra recommendations.

Mentor Description

Analía Sirabonian is an Artist, Portfolio advisor and Photographer. Analia’s works investigate the human body and its relationship with the world, formats morphology and skin to its anthropological nature, materializing in a trans-disciplinary way and in various formats. In 2011, she finished her clothing design career at the University of Buenos Aires, where she experimented with photography and different digital manipulation techniques in addition to textiles. And in 2016 she completed the Masters in Visual Arts at Plymouth University.

She is a professor at the San Andrés University, a theoretical professor at the University of Buenos Aires and a private tutor for the monitoring and development of portfolios to apply to foreign Visual Arts Universities (Central Saint Martins, Parsons, Pratt, I. Marangoni, NYU, Slade, among other).

Since 2012 she exhibits her work in different cities; Buenos Aires, (MACBA, MARQ,) New York, (The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts) Berlin (Somos Art House, Ufer Studios), in addition to conferences at various universities, such as The International Center of Photography (NYC), Universidad del Este (La Plata), Universidad de Buenos Aires.
That same year she founded Elephanto Studio, where she currently works as a photographer and art director.
